Summary/Abstract: This article aims to scrutinize the scope of the ecological crisis and its tendency to bring out two intertwined entities: environmental ethics and aesthetics. This situation gives rise to cross-views through speeches and debates as rich as they are confusing. This article aims to highlight the relationship between environmental ethics and its moral concerns and environmental aesthetics and its aesthetic assessments, with a look at the debates and attitudes examining the questions of instrumental value and intrinsic value of the environment.
