Development vouchers as an opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the possibilities of obtaining development vouchers as a potential opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The main objective of the research was to analyze the level of interest of enterprises from the Lubuskie Province in the possibility of applying for development vouchers, as well as to identify the main barriers limiting the development of enterprises. In order to implement the assumptions of this article, the method of descriptive analysis of the available literature on the subject was used. Own empirical research was also conducted. The research was conducted using the diagnostic survey method, employing the questionnaire technique. The study showed that the majority of entrepreneurs from the Lubusz Voivodeship (68.2%) are considering using development vouchers. It was also indicated that the main obstacles to business development are limited access to funding, insufficient information, and a lack of qualified personnel.
