The Role of Art and Religion Subjects in the Spiritual Development of Students and in Reducing Aggression in School in the New Reality

Summary/Abstract: There are constant efforts to stop aggression in schools, and yet its verbal and physical manifestations are increasing to global proportions. Society and its youngest representatives, pupils and students, are losing the notion of good and evil, replaced by material values, and if these are not supported by spiritual dimensions, the moral foundations of civilization, built over centuries, will collapse and will be deprived of its value. The wider introduction of the subject of religion in schools and the increase in the hours devoted to the study of arts would bring greater emotional peace and harmony into the souls of adolescents and enhance their transformation into creative individuals.
