Summary/Abstract: The School subject Opera Studio at the Academy of Performing Arts is a unique project in the creative education of musical and visual artists: singers, set designers, costume designers, instrumentalists, sound engineers, filmmakers, dramaturgists, managers, etc. Many personalities of their professions have worked in this environment. The author's contribution from the autopsy analyzes his pedagogical and directing approaches when working on opera productions in the environment of higher education, analyzes the positive and negative determinants of the artistic and pedagogical process, maps the development over the last fifteen years and names the possibilities of solving problematic factors.
