Summary/Abstract: During the academic year 2023/2024, a project of music and creative workshops titled Musical Mosaic: Creative Interaction as a Basis for the Development of Musical Creativity in a Complex of Musical Activities was implemented at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. The project was designed for primary school students in the first stage of education and music education students at pedagogical faculties across the Czech Republic. The workshops focused on the active engagement of participants in the teaching process and the development of their musical creativity. They were facilitated by tandems composed of experienced teachers and artists. 32 workshops and 5 "Meetings with Art" were conducted. Feedback from the students was collected throughout the project and subsequently analysed. The results indicate that students valued the opportunity to participate in music workshops beyond their standard studies. They were able to identify the activities they took part in and reflect on the process and benefits of each workshop. The project can thus be regarded as a valuable contribution to the professional development of the participating students.
