Summary/Abstract: The present paper explores the use of biblical motifs and legends in Lucian Blaga’s poetry, focusing on their profound complexity and symbolic richness. It examines the parallels between Blaga’s poetic vision and biblical myths, highlighting his poetic dialogue and confrontation with the divine. The study analyzes how Blaga invokes God throughout his work, particularly in poems such as Paradis în destrămare, Bunavestire, Întâia duminică, Lacrimile, Pe ape and Inima. Through these texts, Blaga constructs a powerful and evocative artistic imagery, deeply infused with biblical references.
