Boundaries of judicial review in building lawlessness cases

Summary/Abstract: Proceedings conducted by construction supervision authorities in cases of building lawlessness,due to the specificity expressed in several stages of adjudication, raise a number of theoretical andpractical doubts about the scope of judicial review. The article analyses the limits of judicial reviewin cases involving complaints against decisions of administrative bodies, discusses the evolution oflegislative changes regarding building lawlessness, and the judicial review of rulings issued in suchcases. This formed the basis for defining the limits of judicial review in cases of building lawlessnessand for evaluating the statutory solutions adopted in this regard.
