Summary/Abstract: In this article, we will begin by presenting the dependency and subordination relationship between the third party notice and the main claim. Based on the arguments used, this relationship involves both the justification for introducing such an intervention request and the influence on the solutions that can be given to it, depending on the outcome of the main claim. In the second part of the article, we will focus on the issues related to inconsistent practice regarding the subject, stamp duty, admissibility, and the resolution of the third party notice on the merits, analyzing the opinions expressed in the Minutes of the Meeting of the Presidents of the Civil Sections of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Courts of Appeal, Braşov, June 10 11, 2021.
