Summary/Abstract: The building consists of a ground floor and two floors, the base is 15940 mm wide, 39490 mm long, with ground floor elevations of ±0.00, floors +5.00 m, +11.60 m and a sloping roof with a double slope. The change in the purpose of the building caused the need to change the grid of the columns above the elevation of +5.00 m. The consequence of removing the row of columns above the elevation +5.00 m, leads to a change in the static system by increasing the span of the lattice floor support at the elevation +11.60 m, from two spans 9.0+11.04 m to 21.04 m. The removal of the row of columns without a previous global analysis of the load-bearing capacity and stability of the structure led to excessive deflection of the inter-story structure at an elevation of +11.60 m and deformation of the frames in the longitudinal direction. The reconstruction provided for the removal of the reinforced concrete slab at the +11.60 m level, and by adding new elements to the floor supports, three-band roof trusses were formed. With this reconstruction, the number of floors of the building was changed and it becomes a building with a ground floor and one floor. Renovation of the existing structure envisages strengthening of columns by welding U-profiles, strengthening of the lower belts of floor supports at the level of +5.00 m, installation of additional vertical couplings in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The spatial calculation model was made in Auto desk Robot 2019 software.
