Summary/Abstract: The article presents considerations on the fundamental issues arising from the role that the environmental decision serves in the individual assessment procedure regulated by the Act of 3rd Octo‑ber 2008 on Providing Information about the Environment and its Protection, Public Participationin Environmental Protection and Environmental Impact Assessments. The author has attempted tosynthesize the previous achievements of science on environmental law and jurisprudence in thefield of the issues addressed therein, and to provide ideas for further thought and discussion.
