Summary/Abstract: The article analyses 17 royal Prussian and two chamber ordinances issued inthe years 1743–1775 regarding tree planting along roads in Silesia. These circulars regu-lated the entire spectrum of matters, both organizational and technical, concernig roadsidetrees – their planting, maintenance, and protection.
