Summary/Abstract: Traditional Dacian pottery clearly represents the continuity of the indigenous population in the province of Dacia. In most cases, this pottery was discovered in rural settlements, fortifications, and their respective civilian areas. In urban environments, such ceramics were very rarely found. The batch of Dacian pottery from the Roman Period discovered at the archaeological site of Reșca-Romula indicates a continuation in the shapes and decorative elements of Dacian ceramics from the pre-Roman period. These vessel fragments have been dated to the early phase of the Roman presence in Dacia, specifically to the first half of the 2nd century AD.
