Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the dialogical approach of Metropolitan Anthony Bloom. It offers a short outline of his life and the formative influences on his thought. Then it analyses some concrete themes of Metropolitan Anthony’s theological reflections: these are dialogical personalism, a scientific approach to theology, the story of the two trees in the Garden of Eden, which symbolise two ways to God, namely, the contemplative and through experimental knowledge of the created world, and his ideas about the unity of Christians and the ecumenical movement. Finally, the conclusion offers an overview of his dialogical approach and its relevance for the contemporary world.
