The centenary of the Romanian Patriarchate and a Purposeful, Purifying Examination of the Current Ecclesiastical States

Summary/Abstract: The present study proposes a meditation on how the Centenary of the Romanian Patriarchate is reflected in our church life. Commemorating an event that marked the consolidation of the Romanian Church, through the establishment of the Patriarchate’s status, it is natural to direct our thoughts towards the current state of the Romanian ecclesial life, with a clear desire for it to be as renewed and meaningful as its original purpose. Self- examination is needed, from the perspective of continuous renewal, not only on a personal level, but also within the community
