Summary/Abstract: This study investigates the relationship between scientific advancement and socioeconomic progress using a scientometric methodology. The research examines publication activity and the Science Development Index (SDI) in different countries, utilizing statistical methods to evaluate the reciprocal impact of science and socioeconomic metrics, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). The results demonstrate a significant, nonlinear association between SDI and HDI, emphasizing the essential role of international cooperation and funding in fostering scientific development. The study emphasizes the importance of scientometric indicators in informing policy-making and fostering sustainable socioeconomic progress.
