Summary/Abstract: The article investigates recent transformations on the concept of legal consent in the context of technological advancement, with a particular focus on the influence of artificial intelligence. The main hypothesis of the research starts from the idea that technology affects the authenticity and validity of consent, which requires revisiting traditional paradigms in private law.The objectives pursued include the modern definition of consent, the analysis of the risks generated by AI, as well as the identification of viable legislative solutions. The methodology is mixed – doctrinal research, case studies and comparative analysis of international regulations. The results indicate an urgent need for clear regulation and uniform global standards. The practical implications concern both clarifying legal liability and protecting vulnerable parties. The study advocates interdisciplinary collaboration as an essential solution in regulating digital consent.
