“Ştefan cel Mare” National Military College – A Century in Eternity

Summary/Abstract: Those to whom life has given them the opportunity to learn in the Musatin Fortress at the foot of the Rarau mountain, fully understand the words of this motto, belonging to Ferdinand I himself, the ‘Unifier ‘ King, who signed the birth act of the Military High School ’Stefan cel Mare”. For more than a hundred years, enthusiastic young people with high aspirations have been entering the classes of the school, eager to become great men, trained in the school of responsibility and order. Yes! ‘Order teaches you to gain time’ (Goethe), and ‘school must teach you to be your own teacher, the best and the harshest’, as Nicolae Iorga said. In this spirit, carrying on their shoulders the glorious past of the high school, year after year, hundreds of young people, graduates of this vocational school, go on with their lives, mature, disciplined and responsible, ready to continue their training, to give to the Romanian country and society the fruit of their future profession.
