Summary/Abstract: The relationship between the Podrinje noble family of Dinjicic and the Usora noble family of Zlatonosovic has been treated poorly so far. The story usually ends with the fact that it is a vassal relationship between the Dinjicics and the Usora noble family, which has been passed down through inertia to this day. The letter that the prefect Dragisa sent to the Zlatonosovic brothers in 1424 at first glance creates an image of the vassal relationship between the Podrinje noble family, but a deeper criticism of this source opens up the question of the real relationship. This paper treats the relationship between two noble families in medieval Bosnia viewed through the prism of "loyal service" on the one hand, and historical context on the other.
