Summary/Abstract: The „New Industrial Theory” realises strong connections between industrial economy and neoclasical theory related to the market behavior of enterprises. Performance, as a concept, does not mean only obtaining profit. Performance has its relevance through result indicators. In this paper the authors try to realize an analysis of the level of performance of enterprises in Romanian economy.
