Summary/Abstract: This pilot study investigated the impact of regular Snoezelen sessions on children with multiple disabilities. Ten children with autism and intellectual disability were randomly assigned to experimental (weekly Snoezelen) and control groups. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test revealed a statistically significant difference (p < 0.001) in improvement between groups, indicating that regular Snoezelen sessions positively influenced responses to stimuli across sensory areas. The study suggests Snoezelen's potential as an effective tool in special education, but limitations include small sample size and short follow-up period. Future research with larger samples and longer durations is recommended.
