Summary/Abstract: This study analyzed the experiences of pupils with visual impairments with online socio-pathological phenomena, focusing on the frequency, characteristics, and impacts of these phenomena on their daily lives and learning. A questionnaire was used to collect data from pupils in special and inclusive schools across Western Slovakia. Results indicated that mobile phones were the most commonly used devices. While most pupils were familiar with cyberbullying, only 7.7% had direct experiences, suggesting a superficial understanding. The study highlights the high online engagement of visually impaired pupils and their awareness of potential risks, but also reveals the need for more targeted informational programs. Further research is needed to understand these phenomena better and improve prevention and intervention strategies.
