Summary/Abstract: The thought of outlining the moral-spiritual and intellectual profile of Archimandrite Paulin Lecca—one of the most sought-after, listened to, esteemed, and beloved spiritual fathers of our Church—has long been on my mind. Having known him since October 1, 1970, when I first opened the massive wooden gates of the Theological Seminary in Caransebeș, where Father Paulin was our spiritual guide, teacher, and mentor, I have felt a deep obligation to honor him through this remembrance. On one hand, to fulfill the word of Saint Paul, the Apostle to the Nations, who urges us to 'remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you' (Hebrews 13:7), and on the other, to make him known to the current generations of priests, monks, seminary students, and theology students, who are in great need of such spiritual fathers—models of faith, service, and exemplary moral life.
