Summary/Abstract: The material points out the specifics of the organization of zero-hour work in some European countries, where it is applied in the form of short-term on-call or on-demand contracts. Although this type of modern employment creates flexibility for the parties by not binding them with the obligation to acquire and respectively for specific hours of work, it still creates legal uncertainty regarding the expected labor income for the worker.
