Summary/Abstract: If it cannot be proven that the glossolalia from the New Testament is still present today, those who say they have this gift, to support their theory, invoke the text from Romans 8:26. In this study entitled “Romans 8, 26 - towards a theology of Glossolalia?” I have done a short exegesis to see what the text refers to more precisely and whether it really supports such a theory, consulting a number of modern Bible commentaries as well as the exegesis of the Holy Fathers of the Church.
