Summary/Abstract: The article is motivated by an interdisciplinary view of a selected current topic in theological discourse. The goals are achieved by using a tool that, as an original product of legal science and practice, serves as a methodological instrument for investigating the object of research. In addition to the main focus on finding answers about the diaconate of women, the applicability of the equality test as a research tool on the ground plan of a scientific field, for which it was not originally intended, also becomes a secondary subject of verification.
