Cloud Computing solutions in the support of knowledge codification strategy in virtual organization

Summary/Abstract: The article presents possibilities of supporting the strategy of knowledge codification by Cloud computing solutions. First it presents a definition of virtual organization and characterizes knowledge management with special emphasis on the strategy of knowledge codification. Next ideas, models and properties of Cloud Computing as a relatively new form of IT services provision are discussed. The last part of the article discusses potential of Cloud Computing for the support of codification strategy with the presentation of exemplary solutions.
