Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is an attempt to partially fill a gap in the Polishphilosophical literature, which contains scant references to the important Italian philo-sopher Enzo Paci (1911-1976). He was one of the key figures of Italian phenomenology, both in the initial interpretations of Husserl’s thought and in the renewed interest in hisviews during the so-called second wave of Italian phenomenology since the 1960s. Paciformulates a version of relationism: a philosophy of time and relations which focuses onrelations and the subject’s openness to relation. This article begins by outlining the histo-rical and philosophical context of Paci’s work. The main part of the article addresses hisrelationism and its assumptions. Lastly, the final part assesses the motives for his returnto Husserl’s thought.
