Summary/Abstract: The article starts with the problems associated with subjectivity in the evaluation of teacher performance. Subsequently, the documentary analysis method is presented, describing the phases adopted that lead to the analysis of the main definitions of teacher performance, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, the metric is presented, justifying each of the measurements made and the contribution it makes. The proposed metric evaluates teacher performance in an objective manner and allows for calculation based on the indicators selected by the institution.
