Summary/Abstract: The article presents the investigations carried out in the case of the textile archaeological inventory discovered at “St. Nicholas” Church of Aroneanu locality, Iași County, Romania, by means of different non-destructive physical methods (optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy – SEM, X-ray fluorescence spectrophotometry – XRF). The archaeological inventory also included small-sized fragments (2-5 cm) with structures made of combinations of metallic threads, some of them with morphology similar to those provided by the specialized literature, others unpublished.
