Summary/Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant social and economic disruption, forcing organizations to make substantial changes. Maintaining employee engagement and a sense of belonging became crucial challenges. This paper investigates the determinants of organizational commitment stemming from Human Resource Management (HRM) policies during the pandemic, focusing on the relationship between training, employee engagement in HRM COVID-19 strategies, and organizational commitment. The study, conducted among 378 Polish organizations, used SPSS with PROCESS Macro (Models 4 and 7) to analyze data and test hypotheses. A moderated mediation model was tested, examining the influence of organizational HRM COVID-19 strategy climate on the relationship between training and commitment. Results indicate that the organizational HRM COVID-19 strategy climate significantly impacts the mediation models. The study highlights the importance of consistent training, high-quality HRM COVID-19 strategies, a supportive environment, and employee support for these strategies in fostering organizational commitment.
