Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the negative impact of corruption on the efficiency of the State, reduction of its controllability and deterioration of the organization of public life, especially in the context of martial law. Prevention of corruption should be carried out exclusively on a constitutional and legal basis – in compliance with the rule of law and recognising that in Ukraine human rights and freedoms and their guarantees determine the content and direction of the state’s activities. The authors analyze the amendments and additions to the current legislation of Ukraine regarding such a tool for preventing corruption under martial law as declaration.
