Summary/Abstract: Modern unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies open up new possibilities in the field of rescue and crisis management. The aim of the article is to analyze the use of drones in rescue operations, to assess their effectiveness in various crisis scenarios and to identify barriers and limitations in their implementation. The research problem was formulated: To what extent does the use of unmanned aerial vehicles affect the effectiveness of rescue operations? According to the research problem, a research hypothesis was put forward that assumes that unmanned aerial vehicles significantly increase the effectiveness of rescue operations, shortening response time, improving the accessibility of hard-to-reach areas and increasing the safety of rescuers. The study will use theoretical methods, such as an analysis of the literature on the subject, a review of reports and case studies on the use of UAVs in rescue, as well as a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of traditional rescue methods and drone-assisted methods. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that drones are a valuable tool supporting rescue, especially in search operations, providing medical assistance and monitoring of risk areas. Their further development and integration with rescue systems can further increase the efficiency of operations and improve the safety of both rescuers and injured persons.
