Summary/Abstract: Abstract Historical facts tell us that over time deterrence was in a continuous transformation going through phases generated by the progress in different domains, culminating at one moment with the development of nuclear weapons, known as the most powerful and destructive military means. Even if this event seemed to be the pinnacle of evolution of weaponry, the catastrophic effect and terror produced by the nuclear means, as well as the development of other fields, such as the space domain, brought on the global stage a new method of negotiation to counter nuclear deterrence in military conflicts and global tensions. The article’s main objective is to address the paradigm of deterrence in/from space as well as the perspectives and involvement of global actors in this field closely related to nuclear deterrence and most of their military actions.
