Summary/Abstract: The concept of Christian love of neighbour in contemporary secular Bulgarian society is shaped by the country's complex religious, cultural and historical context. This article explores the role of Christian doctrines, in particular the concept of love of neighbour, in contemporary secular Bulgarian society. Bulgaria, an Eastern Orthodox Christian country, has undergone significant social and political changes, especially since the fall of communism in 1989. These changes have affected the role of religion, including Christian values, in society. This survey of religious, sociocultural, and philosophical dimensions aims to analyze how Christian teachings of love for others coexist with secular values in Bulgaria, providing insight into how this concept is adopted in a modern, diverse society.
