Summary/Abstract: In his study The Nuclear History of Culture: Hermeneutic Quanta, Felix Nicolau closely examines the multiple facets of culture, building on an intriguing analogy with the field of quantum physics. He places the entire hermeneutic endeavor under the conceptual topos of cultural deconstruction, a truly symbolic framework. Written from an anti-ideological perspective, the work stands out through what the author himself describes as “the freedom to interpret culture differently” (p. 15), functioning from beginning to end as “a hermeneutic exercise aimed at revitalization, not demolition based on ideological criteria” (p. 15).
