Summary/Abstract: Author of a doctoral thesis developed under the guidance of Professor Dragoș Cojocaru and defended in September 2021 at “Al. I. Cuza” University of Iași, a young researcher and translator from Suceava published, two years later, with “Ștefan cel Mare” University Press in Suceava, a volume that manages to spark interest even before being opened or browsed—thanks to its cover, whose design and layout were created by the author herself. Just as Salvador Dalí’s El Quijote offers increasing visual satisfaction the more closely it is examined, both the metamorphoses and anamorphoses dissected behind the cover, and the novel that provided them to Lavinia Ienceanu, lend themselves not only to a “quick” read, but—more importantly—to a careful and thus intellectually rewarding reading.
