Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to present some similarities between the discourse of history and the one of literature. The discourse of literary non-fiction resembles to the one of history, but I would like to introduce a new subgenre entitled “personal non-fictional literature”. This new subgenre is subsumed by Ivan Jablonka’s third continent, and it presents two types of relations with history and, manages to transform into history a series of unknown or lost persons through the process I call “historification”. The paper will make a short theorization of the personal non-fictional literature, representing a part of my Ph.D thesis entitled “Personal Non-fictional Literature: A Study Upon the Works of Svetlana Alexievich, Vasile Ernu and Ivan Jablonka”. In this study I will analyze the works of Vasile Ernu and Ivan Jabloka because they bring to light the “phosphorescence” of some persons, transferring their memory and experiences into history and collective memory through literature.
