Summary/Abstract: One of the most important and distinguishing characteristics of the neo-avant-garde is the intermediality, which means not only the interpenetration, intersection and interbetweenness between word and image or word and film, but also the opening of dimensions that did not exist before the entry of computer technology into this space: the computer is a dynamic, interactive and flexible medium that provides a whole new range of possibilities for the artist. The paper examines the concept and realisation of the computer-based, algorithmic arrangement of works in the oeuvre of the prominent female artists, Vera Molnár, a visual artist and Katalin Molnár, a poet-writer-performer, contributors to one of the most significant neo-avant-garde journals, the Magyar Műhely.
