Rząśnia Parish Inventory of 1880

Summary/Abstract: In 1818, the parish of St. Roch in Rząśnia was located within the borders of the Kujawy and Kalisz Diocese. In 1852, Rev. Roch Nieszporski became its administrator. The parish church inventory was prepared in accordance with the bishop of the Kujawy and Kalisz Diocese regulation of 8 October 1879 aimed at securing the ownership of the church benefices. The inventory shows the current condition of the newly built church together with its decor, description of liturgical furnishings and vestments, parish documents and church equipment, cemeteries, presbyteries, vicariate as well as its land estate, emolument for the parish priest and areas belonging to the parish. It seems that the inventory is incomplete as it does not have the seal and the signature of the Noworadomsk decanate dean. However, the correspondence of the actual state with the records confirms that it was prepared by the parish priest in the presence of the dean and members of the local church supervision of the Rząśnia parish.
