CHALLENGES IN THE FIELD OF MIGRATION AND ASYLUM AND THE ROLE OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT

Summary/Abstract: Given that crisis situations have been more frequent in recent years, the study aims to highlight the current challenges in the field of migration at regional European and national level, as well as the implications for public administration. Under these conditions, the response of institutional actors must be immediate, concrete and effective. Also during the article, the temporary protection is analyzed from a legal point of view, given that the exceptional situation in Ukraine generated a exceptional situation and the response of the public administration was a quick one. In this context, the tools and mechanisms in the field are subject to a complex process of transformation and evolution. Given that migration will continue to be a challenge, there is a growing concern of governments to find effective solutions.
