Current Tendencies of Social Development and Creating University Education

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with problems of influence of social development tendencies on creating the system of high school education, especially the university education. Specified are development tendencies of current society: globalization of current world, creating the worldwide economic system, spreading information technologies, bringing cultures together, democratization of social life, individualization, increasing the speed of social changes. Attention is paid to the role of university education in the current world and to creating the trivia economy.
