Summary/Abstract: This paper presents the results of research that investigated the relationship of regular inclusion of throwing and catching balls in classroom movement activities with children's gross motor development. The research, conducted by questionnaire survey on a sample of 302 respondents, showed a statistically significant relationship between these variables. Respondents who regularly incorporate throwing and catching balls into activities perceive these activities as a more effective way to develop gross motor skills compared to those who do not practice them. Regular involvement in these activities leads to improved motor control and confidence in movement, which is crucial for children's overall physical development and active participation in other physical activities.
