Summary/Abstract: Cooperative learning is among the participatory approaches to teaching that support the holistic development of pupils. For its effective implementation in the educational process, it is essential to consider how to take into account the individual personality traits of pupils, which can influence the quality of interactions within cooperative activities. This paper draws on theoretical knowledge from pedagogical and psychological literature and focuses on the analysis of pupils' personality traits, primarily the dimensions of introversion and extraversion, and their impact on cooperative learning processes. The goal is to identify the key challenges arising from the personality diversity of pupils in the context of cooperative learning and to formulate recommendations for pedagogical practice that would contribute to the effective planning of cooperative learning strategies, taking into account the specific needs of pupils.
