Summary/Abstract: "From the “archaeological” analysis presented, it emerges that the four artists have avant-garde roots, multilayered vocational paths, marked by the Bucharest Sociological School, conversion to Orthodox Christianity, the communist dictatorship, and artistic achievements that denote surprising developments. Their work is similar in synthesizing a diversity of artistic, scientific, spiritual, and political elements, difficult to live and manage, by unearthing the hidden beauty of the world and bringing it into their own creations. In this way, they composed, from the aforementioned elements and perhaps from others, wonderful, fabulous, super-sensitive alternatives – to the everyday monstrosities of the society in which they lived.
