Summary/Abstract: In the tumult of everyday life, each individual faces various challenges, stress, and pressures, and the ability to manage these tense situations becomes essential for psychological well-being. Coping mechanisms represent the set of strategies and resources we use to confront or adapt the way we handle stress and challenges. The term 'coping' is derived from the English language, meaning to face or manage. Essentially, coping mechanisms are our internal and behavioral tools that help us overcome difficulties, deal with pressures, or adapt to changes. Over time, researchers in the field of psychology have identified various types of coping mechanisms, classifying them based on their nature and how they affect the individual. These mechanisms can range from problem-solving-oriented strategies, such as planning and decision-making, to emotion-based approaches, such as expression or affective regulation. In this study, we aim to investigate how employees adopt and utilize coping mechanisms in the organizational environment and how they can influence not only their stress levels but also their long-term mental health.
