Summary/Abstract: Critical thinking is not a mere theoretical activity, but a revision of prior knowledge, assumptions, and experiences. The reflective dimension of critical thinking deepens this process: logical analysis is complemented by an examination of personal experiences, emotions, and intuitive impressions, thus helping to align abstract principles with everyday action. The paper seeks to show that the advantage of artificial intelligence over human reasoning can be tempered by the introduction of the ability to reflect, as the machine has no world.
