Summary/Abstract: The article reviews the modern databases that are used in the educational system of Ukraine. It is described legislative base which became the basis for their official using, and discusses some of the features of their functioning. At the present stage of development of the world education community becomes the most important element of the social sphere of the state, ensuring sustainable economic growth, social stability, the development of civil institutions of society and national security. Education provides a process for obtaining a specific person systematized knowledge and skills with a view to use them effectively in their professional activities. The level of educational attainment of the population is an indicator that characterizes the country's competitiveness.
