Summary/Abstract: "My article reveals a hermeneutics of intimism, focusing on matters related to intimist time and space, the “revealing reverie” of intimism, and mythical and symbolic representation in intimism. At the same time, I tried to highlight the Bachelardian critical method in The Poetics of Space and to apply it to the concept of intimism in Romanian literature. In my work I also defined intimism by the idea of paradox. For example, in Blecher’s work, I discovered an intimacy of the “cursed place” or the intimacy obtained by immensity or intensity. The more the intimacy is revealed, the more aggressive, insecure and exposed to depersonalization the self becomes. Solitude is followed by the futility of existence. The degradation of the world reaches the highest point in these Blecherian places that have passed the full moment of intimacy and have mixed sadness with loneliness and helplessness in one last reality.Blecher's introspective-aggressive intimism in Occurrence in the Immediate Unreality, is observed in symbols like: voluptuous fainting, olfactory drunkenness, things that assault, petrified figures."
