4. Acquisition of dismemberments of property rights by usucaption. Practical aspects of their duration and extinction

Summary/Abstract: The duration of limited property rights is definite. This aspect results from the fact that the legislator has ruled maximum limits regarding the duration of these rights. Secondly, the fact that these rights are only temporary resides in the fact that the final purpose is represented by the reunification of the property right, which is the only unlimited right as of its duration. One of the ways of establishing the limited property rights is acquisitive prescription. The present study focuses on the analysis of the provisions regarding the duration and ways of ending the limited property rights constituted by acquisitive prescription.
