Summary/Abstract: When his book Sol absolu is published in 1982, Lorand Gaspar appears as a pure Frenchman,a French doctor and poet. Two of his books speak about the Palestine, and his mensuel publication, Alif, would like to create an cultural alliance between the French and the Maghreb literature. It’s only in 1973 that Gaspar returns to the region of his childhood. Born in Transylvania, his first language is Hungarian. Since 1973, Gaspar begins to translate from Hungarian.
